Lisa Townsend, Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner, joined local leaders and school pupils at the VIP Safe Drive Stay Alive Event in Dorking on Thursday 3rd November.
It was wonderful to attend the New Beginnings Art Awards, led by the Women’s Support Centre, and witness the amazing talent of women from the community and prisons in Surrey.
I am passionate about being a strong, supportive voice for victims. The criminal justice system can be a daunting process for anyone, but for those who have been the victim of a crime it can seem like an alien procedure that doesn't always put the needs of the victim at its heart.
I’ll be at the Merstham Community Meeting on Wednesday 1st March alongside members of your local policing team, to discuss local issues and answer any questions you may have.
On Wednesday 15th February (next Wednesday) I’ll be joining Councillor Buddhi Weerasinghe at Lower Sunbury Community Meeting, alongside members of the local policing team to discuss local issues and answer any questions you may have.
